Ingredients:
300g / 10.58 oz blueberries
100g / 3.52 oz caster sugar
600ml / 20.29 oz plain yoghurt
Method:
Mix all the ingredients in a blender, pour the mixture into glasses and let it cool down in the fridge. It is a great way to start your morning routines.
Ingredients:
500g / 17.63 oz wholemeal flour (whole-wheat flour)
1 packet dry yeast (7 grams / 0.24 oz)
2 tbsp organic honey
1 / 1,5 – 2 tsp salt
2 tbsp ground flax seeds
480ml / 16.23 oz water
Any kind of seeds (flax, sesame, sunflower)
Method:
In a large bowl, add the flour, the dry yeast and all the other ingredients. Stir it all together with a wooden spoon / spatula until you get a coherent mixture. Cover it with some cling film or a clean tea towel and let it sit for about 30 minutes in a warm place. You can also add to the mixture a handful of different seeds such as flax seeds, sesame seeds and / or sunflower seeds. You can add different seeds on top of the bread, too.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking tin sprinkled with some flour and bake it in a preheated oven for about 35 to 40 minutes. Once it is out of the oven, sprinkle the bread with a little bit of water on top and cover it with a clean tea towel until it cools down. Cut the bread into 1cm thin pieces and serve it with your dish.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp flour
5 tbsp any vegetable oil
10 tbsp fresh dill
Salt
100ml / 3.38 oz milk
Method:
Put the oil into a saucepan and heat it a little. Add the flour and mix it together to get the roux. Then slowly pour the milk into the mixture while stirring all the time on low heat. Season with salt and add the dill. Finally add a little bit of vinegar and mix it all together. Serve with any roast meat, fried potatoes or boiled vegetables.
Boil eggs with salt
When you boil eggs, add a pinch of salt to the water. Then they will boil properly without cracking the shells.
Keep the lemon peel
Do not throw away the lemon peel once you have squeezed out the lemon juice. Rub the cutting board as well as your kitchen knife with it so you get rid of the smells from cutting different foods on the board.
Onions without tears
In order to peel the onions without tears, put each onion head first into hot and then cold water.
